Sound familiar?
Whether it's the build-up or just a full life.
The heavy, humid weeks before the rain. A packed dry season. Work, family, and everyone wanting a piece of you. Some seasons ask a lot of us, and our nervous systems feel every bit of it.
- You hit the 2pm slump with your heart racing and your eyelids heavy.
- You spend Sunday racing the clock for a moment of rest before Monday.
- Holidays help, but the calm never seems to last.
None of this means you're doing life wrong. Your nervous system has simply been carrying more than it's had the chance to put down. Vedic Meditation gives you a way to let it go, every day, whatever the season.
Darwin life has its own rhythm. Early starts before the heat. Long shifts and rosters. Friends who come and go with postings and contracts. Storms that rattle the windows, and your sleep. And the build-up, when the air sits on you like a weight and patience runs thin.
That's why I love teaching here. Vedic Meditation fits a Darwin day. Twenty minutes before the heat sets in, and twenty more as the afternoon tips into evening. Under the fan, in the car at school pick-up, or on the balcony at dusk. No special room. No silence required.
Courses run in small groups, so you'll learn alongside other Territorians who know exactly what this place asks of you.

Your teacher
Hi, I'm Jocelyn Lea. I'll be with you every step.
I started meditating because I was so tired of knowing all the reasons I was stressed, doing all the things to manage it, and still feeling like I was constantly vibrating with stress. On the outside I was functioning. On the inside, my nervous system never really settled.
Vedic Meditation gave me more joy, more play, more patience and more space. It didn't change my life. It didn't make life less busy. It changed how I felt living it. Instead of just surviving, I started to thrive.
I have been meditating for over 5 years and teaching for over a year, after years of training, study and mentoring. I continue my education, receive ongoing supervision and stay connected to my teachers. I'm also a Physiotherapist, and I bring the same care and practicality to teaching that I bring to my clinic.
I teach in small groups in Darwin and Perth, and travel regularly to teach in other places around Australia and the world. If I can't come to you, I can connect you with a trusted teacher closer to home.
Go gently 🤍
Jocelyn Lea
