My story

Functioning on the outside.

Vibrating on the inside.

I started meditating because I was so tired of doing all the things, and still feeling like I was constantly vibrating with anxiety and stress.

On the outside, I was functioning, achieving and coping. On the inside, my nervous system never really felt settled.

I'd read the books. I knew the science. I had good coping strategies. And still, no amount of thinking made me less stressed. I say that as someone who used to think their way through everything.

Having worked as a Physiotherapist for over 10 years, I'd spent a lot of time seeing how physical stress and injuries show up in people's bodies. I knew how to help people rebuild their strength, improve their mobility, navigate chronic pain and develop the skills they needed to feel better in their bodies.

But Vedic Meditation introduced me to another piece of the puzzle.

It wasn't dramatic. It didn't turn me into a different person. But slowly, the edges of life started to feel smoother. Hard feelings still came. They just passed with less friction. I stopped carrying yesterday's stress into today. I started experiencing more joy, more play, more patience and more space in my mind and body.

It flowed into my mental health, my emotional wellbeing and the way I experienced everyday life.

I started to see how this practice could complement the work I'd been doing for years. Just as I'd help someone build strength or develop new movement patterns, or support clinicians on their career journey, I now had a way to help people support their nervous systems, too.

So I went and trained to become a Vedic Meditation Teacher because I wanted to share this gift. With my clients, my team, organisations, friends, family, the stranger on the street, and anyone curious about what life could feel like with a little more ease.

I want more people to know what it's like to have a nervous system that feels less like something they're constantly trying to manage, and more like a place they get to call home.

What it's given me

Meditation hasn't given me more hours in the day.

It's given me more energy within them.

More joy. More play. More balance. More space in my mind and body. More empathy. More patience. More adaptability.

And a deeper knowing of who I am, and what actually matters.

It's not about becoming a different person.

It's about coming back to yourself.

My why

Life doesn't have to feel like pushing sh*t up a hill.

I look after myself with a handful of things. Eating well. Moving my body. The people I love. A path that feels meaningful. And Vedic Meditation.

That's it. No 30-step self-care routine.

Meditation doesn't fix life's problems.

In my experience, it makes the edges feel smoother. Hard feelings still come. They just pass with less friction. Clarity comes faster. You stop carrying yesterday's stress into today.

This creates more space for joy, play and life to be full of the good things.

I'd love for you to feel that too. Not just on holiday, but on an ordinary Tuesday.

What I believe

Vedic Meditation is the foundation.

Everything else builds on it.

The foundation, not an add-on

Vedic Meditation isn't one more thing on your list. It's the steady ground everything else stands on. Twenty minutes, twice a day, and the rest of your life has something solid underneath it.

One practice, not a 30-step routine

You don't need another app, supplement or morning routine. One simple practice, done twice a day, does the heavy lifting.

Release, not just relief

A holiday gives you relief for a week. Vedic Meditation gives your body deep rest every day, so stored stress can finally let go instead of piling up.

Effortless, not effortful

It isn't mindfulness, and you won't be trying to stop your thoughts. Vedic Meditation works because it's easy. There's no good or bad meditation. Only practice.

Calm that still cares

Meditating doesn't make you care less.

It gives you the energy to show up more fully for the people and the work you love.
