Break the Burnout Cycle

A six-week reset for those who are burnt out and never switched off.

Pushing through the 2pm slump. Living for the weekend. Waiting for the next holiday. If that's your normal, you're not broken. You're in a loop.

Your body often gives you little signals before stress becomes overwhelming. A niggle in the calf before the tear. Your nervous system sends early signals too. Learning to recognise them can help you understand what you're carrying before it all becomes too much.

In six weeks, I'll teach you to catch them, so you can protect your capacity instead of running on empty.

12 audio episodes · Less than an hour a week · Yours to keep

Sound familiar?

Burnout goes beyond exhaustion.

It's when you stop feeling restored, even after you've rested.

  • The weekend doesn't touch the exhaustion.
  • You sleep, but you don't wake up refreshed.
  • Even the things you once loved start to feel like effort.
  • You're tired, but still wired. Especially at 2pm.
  • You're functioning on the outside, and running on empty on the inside.
  • You keep thinking, "When will this end? I don't want to keep living for the weekend."

If you're nodding along, you're not lazy and you're not broken. Your body is asking for something different.

Why rest isn't enough

It's often not about doing too much. It's about not recovering enough.

Most of us try to fix burnout by taking time off, sleeping more, or "slowing down." Those things help. But in my experience, they don't always reach the deeper layer: a body that has been switched on for so long, it's forgotten how to switch off.

When stress is ongoing (emotional, mental, physical, even the good kind), being on high alert becomes your baseline. It feels normal. So you keep going. Almost like the more you take on the more you 'level up in life'.

Not a motivation problem. Not a mindset problem. A recovery problem.

The usual fixes

  • Push through until the next holiday
  • Add another self-care habit to the 30-step routine you already have
  • Try to think your way out of it
  • Rest, then go straight back to bracing

A different kind of rest

  • Understanding what's really keeping you switched on
  • Rest that goes deeper than a day off
  • A handful of things that work, not a 30-step routine
  • Small, gentle steps you can keep doing

What changes

You realise you don't have to live this way. And you leave with a way to check in for life.

Over six weeks, you'll start to see that much of your exhaustion comes from old patterns on repeat.

Chasing the next thing.

The happiness trap.

The belief that more effort always equals better.

You'll understand why the more input your nervous system takes in, the more depleted you become. And you'll learn to notice the warning signs early, before it turns into a crash.

Most importantly, you'll leave with your own simple way to check in with yourself, for life. So you don't need to keep coming back to a course to stay steady. Although you will have access to this course.

What's included

Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

12 audio episodes

15 to 20 minutes each, two a week. Sent straight to your inbox as audio files, so you can press play on a walk, at the gym or in the car. No app to download, and nothing extra on your to-do list.

The Nervous System Audit

Completed in week one and again in week six, so you can see your shift for yourself.

Inner Snapshot Audit

A review of your life, all on one page. See what’s going on, what’s working and what’s not. Know your own warning signs for when stress is building, and the signs that life is feeling smooth. Built from you, not a generic checklist.

A printable workbook

One short reflection each week. Exploring why does this cycle keep happening, and what's next?

Weekly check-ins from me

Weekly check-ins to see how you're going, offer individual guidance and share a reflection question to support your practice.

A free conversation

At the end, an invitation to a free 20-minute chat: is Vedic Meditation right for you?

The six-week journey

See the cycle. Understand it. Change it.

Week one

The Cycle

The 2pm slump, the weekend, the holiday: naming the loop. And why rest alone doesn't fix it.

You're not broken. You're in a loop.

Week two

Your Nervous System

How it actually works, in simple terms. And why too much input leaves you so exhausted.

When you understand it, you stop blaming yourself.

Week three

The Warning Signs

What your body teaches us about early warning signs, and why we miss them until it's too late.

Noticing your early signs is a skill. You can learn it.

Week four

Old Patterns

Chasing the next thing, the happiness trap, and where "more effort = better" really came from.

Not to judge them. Just to see them.

Week five

Capacity

Turning down the input. Doing less, and making space. Rest you don't have to earn.

Not by doing more. By letting go.

Week six

Coming Home

Your new rhythm, what to do when you slip back (because you will, and that's okay), and what comes next.

Coming home to yourself, again and again.

How it fits into your life

Less than an hour a week. Because adding more to your plate isn't the answer.

Two short episodes and one reflection each week. Episodes arrive in your inbox as audio files, so you can press play from your phone wherever you are. On a walk, at the gym or in the car.

After the six weeks, your Inner Snapshot Audit takes five minutes a week and fifteen to twenty minutes a month.

Why I teach this

You don't have to wait until you're running on empty.

We get so used to pushing through. The full calendar, the racing thoughts, the feeling that there's always something else to do. We tell ourselves we'll slow down when things settle.

But life doesn't always settle. And you shouldn't have to wait until you're completely exhausted to give yourself a break.

I teach Vedic Meditation because I want you to have a way to look after yourself in the middle of your life, not just when everything becomes too much.

You don't have to earn your rest.

Is it for you?

Made for people ready to stop pushing through.

It's for you if

  • You're high-functioning, but running on empty
  • Time off helps for a moment, then it's gone
  • You want something simple, not another big project
  • You're curious about a gentler way through

Please know

This course is one support inside a whole life. It isn't medical treatment, and it isn't a replacement for care from your GP or a mental health professional.

If you're struggling right now, please reach out to someone you trust or your GP first.

And after that?

Seeing the cycle is the first step. Releasing what's stored is the next.

Awareness alone can't clear years of accumulated stress. That's where Vedic Meditation comes in: 20 minutes, twice a day, effortless.

This course is a gentle doorway into my four-day Vedic Meditation course. Everyone who finishes is offered a free 20-minute conversation to see whether it feels right for you. No pressure, ever.
